Take the Next Step

Give your face better balance and a confident profile with a nose job at CI Plastic Surgery. Book your consultation today and let our experts guide you safely through the procedure.

During your initial evaluation, you can expect to have a discussion regarding your past medical history. Dr. Patel will do a thorough examination and provide you with a surgical plan. After the evaluation is complete, Dr. Patel may suggest other procedures that he can do in conjunction with your Rhinoplasty to meet the goals you hope to achieve with this procedure.

A Nose Job is an outpatient procedure meaning it will take place at our office-based surgical site. Proper anesthesia will be administered and, as with any procedure, you will be hooked up to different machines to monitor your vitals during the procedure.

In order to reshape your nose, Dr. Patel will place incisions inside your nose; this will provide him with access to the cartilage inside that form your nose shape; this is where the work will be done. Sometimes, the location of certain bones will be altered in order to narrow or straighten your nose.

While possible risks should be considered for any surgery, know that complications from a Rhinoplasty are rare and most can be alleviated altogether if instructions given to you by Dr. Patel are followed prior to and after plastic surgery.

Once the surgery is complete, you will be put in a recovery room; usually, you are able to go home within a few hours of the procedure.

Healing varies from person to person but following the advice from Dr. Patel, such as keeping your head elevated, may shorten the recovery time. There will be bruising around your eyes and cheeks which should resolve within a few days of the procedure. Minor bleeding is not uncommon. Discoloration will resolve after one week and the swelling should go down within several weeks. Once your Nose Job is complete, you can expect to go return to normal daily activities within 7 to 10 days. Exercise should be put on hold for a few weeks so the bones and cartilage have a chance to heal properly. The sensitivity of your nose from the procedure should ease within several weeks.

The results of your Rhinoplasty will look natural once you’ve had a chance to recover from the procedure. Within weeks, you will be able to enjoy your new look and within a single year, the full results of your Nose Job will be complete.
